Le printemps s'est installé ! Nous allons le découvrir en moyenne montagne, en flânant sur les contreforts du Jura, à la recherche des plantes médicinales et culinaires spécifiques du lieu : ortie, pissenlit, aegopode, alliaire, oxalis, coucou, plantain, bourgeons de sapin ou d'épicéa... /

Spring is here! We will discover it by strolling on the foothills of the Jura, in search of the medicinal and culinary plants specific to the place: nettle, dandelion, aegopod, allian, oxalis, primrose, plantain, buds of fir or spruce...

Suivant la cueillette nous ferons une préparation ensemble : sirop de bourgeons de sapin, efficace contre la toux ; boisson aux fleurs de coucou, désaltérante... Vous découvrirez aussi comment réaliser chez vous, qui une tarte aux herbes, de la limonade de pissenlit, un gâteau de primevères, des tisanes diverses… /

Following the picking we will make a preparation together: syrup of fir buds, recommended against cough; primrose (Cuckoo) flower drink... You will also return home with few recipes such as a delicious tart, dandelion lemonade, a cake of primroses, various herbal teas...

Cette sortie sera animée par Patricia COMBET. Herbaliste, diplômée de l'Ecole Lyonnaise de Plantes Médicinales, Patricia anime des ateliers sur les plantes médicinales et comestibles : reconnaissance sur le terrain, cueillette, préparations. Elle invite à observer ce monde vivant incroyable, cette merveille d'organisation et d'adaptation et à découvrir les bienfaits de la nature pour notre bien-être. La sortie sera en outre encadrée par Julien TEMPLE, Accompagnateur en Montagne. /

This outing is done in collaboration with Patricia Combet. A certified herbalist from Lyon University, School of Herbal Medicine, Patricia runs workshops and field exploration on medicinal and edible plants. Identification, gathering, processing, use, benefit... Patricia share her passion for vegetal world and invites us to discover this wonder of nature and the incredible organization and adaptation of plants, and how important they are for our well-being.

Matériel / Equipment :

- Matériel de randonnée pour sortie campagnarde : chaussures de randonnée / bonnes basket, sac à dos léger, en fonction de la météo protection contre le soleil (chapeau, lunettes de soleil, crème solaire), le froid (gants, bonnet…) et la pluie (veste imperméable, surpantalon de pluie). / hiking shoes, small backpack, jacket, fleece, hat, rain coat, gloves... (depending on the weather).

- De quoi boire et manger : eau / thé, fruits secs/snacks, piquenique de midi / Picnic, snacks and dry fruits to eat, water or hot tea to drink.

- De quoi cueillir : sacs en papier, sacs en tissu, panier, couteau « suisse » / Opinel, ciseaux / petit sécateur... / small bags and baskets to collect flowers, knife, scissors, secateur...

- Accessoires : carnet de note, appareil photo, jumelles… / note book, camera, binoculars...

Difficulté / Difficulty: marche tranquille / ambiance participative – Nous ferons de très nombreux arrêts afin de pouvoir observer, identifier et cueillir les plantes que nous trouverons en chemin. Dénivelé réduit (+/- 300-400m).

Easy walk with numerous stop to observe, identify and pick flowers along the way. Limited ascent (+/- 300-400m)
